And really, it’s very simple.
It’s Boats.co.uk, but for Europe.
Same expert knowledge.
Same customer-focused service.
Same love of boats.
Just with a dedicated home for our European customers.
As many of you know, we’ve been selling boats for over 50 years as a family business. Over that time, we’ve helped customers buy and sell boats all over the world.
But since Brexit, we know some of our European customers have naturally wondered whether dealing with a UK company might be more complicated.
So Boats.co has been created specifically for Europe.
It’s a totally new website, built on everything we’ve learned over the years, with a beautiful, easy-to-use homescreen that’s multilingual, simple to navigate, and focused on boats that are absolutely perfect for the Med.
So the way to think about it is this:
If you’re buying a boat in the UK, or you want to buy a boat abroad but under UK law, then come and see me at Boats.co.uk, where nothing has changed and nothing will change.
But if you want to buy or sell a boat in Europe, with European paperwork, then Boats.co is the place to go.
And for those of you who haven’t visited our Spanish office yet, let me introduce you to the team.
First of all, my brother Nick.
Nick is in charge of the operation in Spain.
Now, Nick and I are similar in lots of ways, but Nick is very much the hands-on one. He loves solving problems, he knows boats inside out, and he’s just as happy in an engine bay as he is having a beer on a flybridge.
He’s exactly the sort of person you want around when something needs sorting.
Then there’s Charles.
Anyone who has spent any time in Cala d’Or will probably have bumped into Charles. He has been part of the town for so long, and knows so many people, that he’s become known as the King Charles of Cala d’Or.
Which, to be fair, is probably the only royal appointment we’re likely to get.
And then there’s Natalia, who is the life and joy of Cala d’Or and Mallorca. Wait until you meet her — I think you’ll agree.
And then there’s Jon.
Jon will be looking after sales and making sure your boat is handled properly, carefully, and professionally from start to finish.
Because selling a boat isn’t just about sticking it online and hoping for the best.
It’s about presentation.
It’s about trust.
It’s about dealing with enquiries properly.
It’s about protecting the value of your boat.
And it’s about making sure the whole process is done with care.
That’s what Boats.co is all about.
Bringing the Boats.co.uk experience to Europe.
The family business. The knowledge. The service. The contacts. The straight-talking advice.
And hopefully, a bit of fun along the way.
